Fredericksburg Art Guild's activities feature the all member show, "For the Love of Art", and the opening reception for Artist of the Month, Cherryl Meggs.
"For the Love of Art" is an all member multi-medium exhibit. The show features work by the Guild's 36 members and include oils, acrylics, photography, pastel, jewelry, stained glass and more.
The Artist of the Month features Cherryl Meggs. Cherryl is an award winning porcelain painting artist as well as a watercolor painter. She has taught porcelain painting all over the United States and internationally. Meet the artist 2 pm to 8 pm and enjoy wine from Torre Di Pietra Vineyards and hors d'oerves.
The Guild's hours are 10 am to 4 om ~ open until 8 pm on the First Friday of every month. The Guild is closed on Tuesdays. The Fredericksburg Art Guild is located behind the Nimitz Museum at 308 E. Austin Street. Ample, free parking is available behind the Convention and Visitor's Center.
